I've been in marketing and public relations over the course of that entire quarter century, and I've owned a handful of businesses through that time as well. Those businesses have included a video store, a tavern, a retail shop and a pizza restaurant. From an early age I remember writing short stories and even though some of those stories written by a 10-year old may have not made the most sense, they sure did to me, especially my favorites about a 10-year old boy and his best friend, Olly the Dinosaur. I knew back then growing up, storytelling is what I wanted to do and I've continued doing that throughout my life, especially as a news writer and editor working for the Lac Courte Oreilles Community over the past 25 years.
