Over the past two years BlueJay has built a successful media and news model that has greatly improved and expanded the LCO Tribe’s communications which consisted of simply a weekly email newsletter with only 600 subscribers to a modern up-to-date news and public relations operation with a news and tribal program website with over 30,000 visitors per month, email newsletter with 2,000 subscribers, distribution of a bi-weekly print newspaper of 1,800 circulation, and a social media following that has more than tripled to over 5,000 followers. Keep in mind the LCO Reservation has less than 2,000 citizens with another 6,000 members living abroad.

BlueJay can now produce the same results for your Tribe through this similar model or through any of our 10 channels of communications.

BlueJay is a fresh new media and marketing company with the aim to improve and/or expand communications within our Tribal Nations. Joe Morey is the sole owner of BlueJay, an enrolled member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band and lifelong resident of northern Wisconsin and Indian Country.

Through any and all of our 10 Channels of Communication BlueJay offers to Tribes, we create positive publicity, keep the public informed about your activities, policies, news, and we can support manager and employee relationships within.

Any print newspaper will incur additional costs at an average of $1,200 per issue with all pages offering color. The cost reduces with less color.

BlueJay can offer you a full newspaper printed weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
